My mom used to participate in marathons that happen once a year. The company that hosted the marathon would also do one for kids. I would participate in the marathon for kid. All the kids that participated would get a medal. I was really excited when got the medal even though I knew I didn't win. I had been running as fast as I could for a really long time and I was tired.
