Daniel Craig is also a big fan of watches but is usually reluctant to do promotional tours so this allows the marketing team to get some new photos of Bond to circulate.

Of course it's impossible for them to have guaranteed the number one spot but you can't help but feel this was the time that they knew they had struck gold.

    Omega and James Bond have long gone hand in hand. Their magazine Lifetime produced a special Spectre edition which is already changing hands on Ebay for up to £25. Interestingly they did a round up of the ridiculous amount of Spectre merchandise. Amongst the items you could find things like memory sticks, Belvedere vodka and Bollinger champagne (with a 007 branded cooler), a Gillette proglide razor, a royal doulton British Bulldog, and a Spectre ring.
