As a result of everything Jack "Jackie" Robinson went on to win rookie of the year, broke the color barrier in america's favorite pastime and eventually went on to play in 6 world series with the Brooklyn dodgers and finally won one in 1955. he was also entered into the baseball hall of fame in 1962. Also he was so respected and such a huge part of baseball that they retired the number 42 (so no players can wear it to honor him).
