The Night of Broken Glass
The next morning there was broken glass every where. Daniel's father had a store and the windows where smashed and broken. Daniel was felt angry and confused. -
The Jews Persacution
Hitler had made military youth groups and told the country that jews were the problem for everything and people beliveved him. Everyone started persacuting all the jews. Daniel was getting teased and got kicked out of school all for being a jew -
Daneil's Uniform
One of Daniel's relatives made Daniel a Hitler youth uniform so he could go anywhere he wanted he hid it form everyone even his parents. -
People getting deported
Jews and other potlitical people were getting depoted to work camps to help make food and supplies. Daniel got depoted to a work camp in Lodz in Poland. -
Anutie Leah is Dead
Auntie Leah was killed by a German guard for trying to keep her children from going on the train to die. Her children also were shot for no reason. -
The meeting in Lodz
Daniel met with a group of people in Lodz to talk about the War and what they can do to stop it. Daniel, Erika and Rosa and others where at the meeting. -
Invites to Auchwits
People were getting sent to Auschwitz a camp built for death to die from Lodz. Daniel didn't get chosen to go there at that time. -
Buchenwald
Daniel and his father got sent to Buchenwald. Buchenwald was a camp for Jews and political prisoners. They work all day long in different factories. one day they went on there walk to work and saw Daniel's sister Erika. -
The Escape
At the end of the war Americans came and they helped the prisoners take over the camp. they had a lot of prisoners they didn't kill them because they wanted to give them a trial in court. -
On the Train to Lodz
After they were free they got on a train to Lodz to see if any family was left of theirs. they stopped at a market and got beat up by some Nazi's and another kid they were with Peter got badly injured. they sent him on a train to the hospital. in the hospital peter died.
