The månses' intelligence had a massive decrease because for some reason all the Månses decided to marry and have children with goats. Even today, we still se some resemblence of a goat when looking into the face of a Måns. -

The Månses met some humans and eventually even got some offspring. That way, the Månses' intelligence skyrocketed and the Månses' average IQ went from 20 to 50. -

Almost extinct
As they had just found a new hunting spot, the smartest Månses were sent hunting for food. But sadly, the Månses tried to hunt some birds with spears and when they reached a cliff they jumped of and tried to fly after the birds. What they didn't expect though, was that they couldn't actually fly and every hunter died. Since the other people, still in the Månses camp, didn't have any food the Månses almost went extinct. -

The månses miracously got a child with IQ over 50. Thanks to that they managed to get necesary food to survive -

Abandoned settlement
The Månses' found an abandoned settlement with about 5 houses. They looked through the windows and saw a lot of food. Sadly the windows were too high up so they couldn't get in. But then, the leader of their clan with an IQ of 40 proposed an idea, to open the door. In the end, they didn't manage to get any food. -

Agriculture?
One of the smarter clan members got an idea which said that Instead of eating, berries and fruits, they could grow plants like other people. The current clan leader "Mask Barkträd" at the time accepted the idea and commanded everyone to get to work. They obviously failed but after getting enough pity from the humans they were helped and somewhat learned how to do agriculture. In the end, they managed to plant a couple potatoes and carrots. -

Village
Due to somewhat learning agriculture and having some high iq induviduals born the clan was able to become bigger and the total population of the Månses increased threefold up to 200. Now, their civilisation could really be considered a village. -
"Humans"
The Månses who previously were a completely different race from humans were now accepted as fellow humans, though not comrades.
