"Liu Xiaobo was born on December 28, 1955 in Changchun, in the Jilin province in mainland China into a family of intellectuals."(Famous people). He finished middle school in 1974 and went to work at a farm at the countryside. He also recived a PhD in 1988 and his thesis was published as a book. -

"Xiaobo’s first book ‘Criticism of the Choice: Dialogues with Li Zehou’ was published in 1987".(Famous people.com). In 1988 before he was arrested,his second book named ‘Aesthetic and Human Freedom’ was published.Along with those,he wrote many articles,more books, and poems. -
Liu Xiaobo and his career
"When the Chinese government cracked down on the students in Tiananmen Square with tanks and killed many demonstrating students, he negotiated with the student leaders and the military commander to allow rest of the students to leave the square in peace. His efforts at bringing peace saved thousands of lives".(Famous people.com). He was later arrested for being involved in student protests and all his books were banned by the government. -
Liu Xiaobo Unjust imprisionment again
"He was charged with ‘suspicion of inciting subversion of state power’ and on December 1, 2009, sentenced to eleven years in prison under the Chinese Criminal Law. He has been in prison since then".(Nobel awards/Famous people).Liu Xiaobo is still alive and will be released soon.The awards he has gotten and the things he has done,to be imprisoned? Liu was just trying to make things better for his country.Lets hope that he will be released and change the bad chinease government!. -
Liu's Big Award
"Liu Xiaobo was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize on October 8, 2010 for his non-violent human rights struggle in China"(Famous people/The new york times).Although he won his award,he was not able to collect it for the fact that he was a political prisoner and still is.He will be free soon and change things around.He might even reopen his published books that were banned Good job Liu Good Job.
