    Most parents would be worried if their child were in the middle of no where, especially the outback. However, most parents believe they are doing the right thing by doing this. One parent stated that she felt her child was safer in the outback than inside on his computer.

    Kids are sent to the outback to learn how to live without technology. It has been proven to be both helpful and to a small group of people..very harmful.

    The program had also been available for many adults who needed help. The program at the camp was simple. No talking about work, no talking about computers, don't use your real name, and try to enjoy yourself.

    After the program is complete the person is expected to live their life now with no to little online interaction. Griffin a boy from the article said that it indeed helped him even though he still goes through anxiety. His mother is afraid of a relapse that might cause him to go back to the online world.
