    League of Nations met for the fisrt time. The group was put together to come to a common goal about not having another world war. It's main purpose was to mediate differences, to resolve porblems peacfully. It failed, in the end, because it had no power to back it's words up and in the end lead to WWII.

    United States elects Warren G. Harding for president due to his "return to normalacy" policy. This policy was made so citizens can return to the way of life before the War started. Harding was elected as people were not happy with the war in Europe and Woodrow WIlson's plan to keep the United States involved with Europe via League of Nations.
