Hendrick Hudson 1982
Supreme Court ruled not in the favor of Amy Rowley even if due process was changed by Hendrick Hudson Central school. The school no longer wanted a interpreter to aid in Amy's education. All her parents wanted for her to have the help needed to make sure their child was treated equal. This was based on her hearing issues. You see she was deaf and needed a interpreter. Reference:

Florence County school district Four v. Shannon Carter.510 U.S.7(1993)
"Shannon's Parents filed this suit in July 1986, claiming that the school district had breached its duty under IDEA to provide "free appropriate public education,"1401(a)(18), reimbursement cost". So the very first time Shannon's parents went to court they lost. So the appeal happened and Florence county school had to provide aid to benefit Shannon education at a private school.
