    During a riot on kings street 5 Americans were killed due to someone yelling fire; the red coats fired and citizens died. This event is important as the drawings and depictions, as well as the event itself stirred the public and put them at odds with King George the 3rd.

    The Tea Act ( Boston Tea party)
    The Tea Act that was imposed by an indebted Britain let East India Company an important and major force pushing Great Britain's economy have a monopoly on Tea in the colonies. This led to the famous Boston Tea Party. This is an important event in the timeline as it made King George the 3rd angry to the point where he shut down Boston Harbor and sent 4000 red coats to enforce his laws in the colonies.

    After the Boston Tea party where 342 chests of tea where destroyed, Parliament enacted 4 laws that included the Boston Port Act, Massachusetts Government Act, Quebec Act, and the Administration of Justice Act. This is a very important event as it led to the first continental congress being formed.

This a major event as it leads the the second continental congress; think of it as the first congress for the united states, even though it there was no initial uniform aim that they where moving towards; it was the start.

    prior to " the shot heard around the world " there was a raid on a British base in Portsmouth; 400 citizens over ran a base and managed to steal about 100 kegs of gunpowder, then came back the following day to steal muskets as well as to disable cannons. This event is important as an account from a 19th century scholar the King of England(King George) was furious to the point that war was going to happen either way. This is an event that isn't giving much importance in the history books.

    This speech is impactful to the point of putting it on the timeline because, Patrick Henry ( a lawyer, orator, and patriot) had his famous speech to push the colonies towards revolting against Great Britain. To paraphrase he talks about the fact that Americans are already fighting, and why would everybody just stand by and watch instead of acting.

This event is important to our revolutionary war as many history experts believe that without this aid, the 13 colonies would have lost the battle for independence from Great Britain.
