    The Constitution was our second goverment document.It established the rules of the three branches of goverment. Later on the Bill of Rights was added to the Constitution. The Bill of Rights contains the rights given to citizens of our country.

    The great depression is the period in which the stock market collapsed. America was hit hard by this economic downfall. Many Americans were affected and the most of the U.S. citizens were living in poverty. This was important in the buildup of todays economy.

    Pearl Harbor was a suprise attack on the U.S. Navy Base at Pearl Harbor. About 2400 people were killed in the attack. Pearl Harbor was the event that caused the United States to fight in World War II
  • 9/11

    9/11
    On this day four airplanes were hijacked by middle earstern terrorists. Two of those planes hit the Twin Towers WTC. One struck the South Tower first, then later another plane crashed into the North Tower. One of the other planes crashed into the Pentagon DOD. On the last plane the passengers fought back and the plane crashed into a field in Pennslyvania. This was important in fixing security at all airports.
