Sam & Cas have talk about Dean while Dean & Bobby have about Cas. Cas finds Dean out on the hood of the Impala, have an “A Beautiful Mind” moment. -
After Heart - Palo Alto, CA
Sam can't stand the sight of Dean after the body disposal. Dean goes to see him at his house, feels strange doesn't wan to talk. Cas takes care of him without asking questions. Hot Tub then bed. Cas asks about the case and Sam. Cas realizes Dean is distraught over the parallel of Sam having to put Madison down and struggling with what he would do if he had to put Cas down. -

Joins the fight in the cemetery. Has a moment with Dean after, talking about how he’d be happy to help Dean round up the demons. Dean teases him that he just wants to see Dean again. Cas blushes which Dean finds insanely charming, a creature of his power and age being so besotted with him. Dean remembers his deal, tells Cas he & Sam got it covered. “Go back to your life. Light seeps from Cas wounds and Cas weakens but Dean heals and in the end it’s Dean trying to mend Cas’ wounds. Cas tells him he’ll be fine.
