    In this election Jackson won the popular vote. Because none of the runner ups won enough electoral college votes the desecion was in the house of reps. In this case the house chose Jackson to win the election because he was a good person and many people liked his ideas.

    In this election Martin deffeated William Harrison in 1836. He was hit with the depression that Jackson left after the banks. After he got hurt from the war with idians he lost the 1840 election.
