She was one of the first female athletes to be so dominant.

He is considered to be one of the most dominant and revolutionary heavyweights of all time, by hold the World Heavyweight Championship for 12 years between the years of 1937-1949. He was also revolutionary fighter outside the ring, he was considered to be one of the first African-American heroes as well as being an honest champion in a time when the sport was heavily corrupted.

    Wilt Chamberlein was a professional basketball player, born in Philadelphia, U.S.A on the 21st of August 1936, he is considered to be one of the all-time greats and has scoring records that still hold up today. He has won two NBA championships and four league MVP's but he is also known as the only player to score 100 points in a game.

    Rod Laver was a professional tennis player, he was born in Rockhampton, Queensland on the 9th of August 1938, he quickly became one of the great tennis players of his generation. He won 2 Grand Slams in 1962 and 1969, he's won multiple other acolades such as 8 Pro Titles. He was such an important part of Australian tennis that in Melbourne they named 'Rod Laver Arena' in his honour.

    Muhammad Ali (born Classius Clay) was born on the 17th of January 1942 in Lousiville, Kentucky. At a young age he fell in love with boxing at a young age because he had his bike stolen and wanted to learn how to defend himself in the future. From there he won gold in the 1960 Olympics and turned professional and won 3 World Heavyweight Championships, but he was most iconic for his actions outside the ring such as standing up for civil rights and coverting to Islam.

    Billie Jean King, is a former professional tennis player and was once the No.1 tennis player in the world. She was born in Long Beach, California U.S.A on the 22nd of November 1943. She was a revolutionary female athlete, with every dominant performance she would fight for gender equality. She even won a tennis game against Bobby Riggs called 'The Battle of the Sexes'. Billie's won every major accolade in tennis and was vital to the progress of gender equality in sports.

    O.J. Simpson is a former NFL player and broadcaster, he was born in San Francisco, California U.S.A. Even though he was a great football player, he is more notoriously known for his time in court. In 1994 O.J.'s ex-wife and her boyfriend were murdered, with Simpson being the prime suspect. After a lenghty and well-publicised court case, O.J. 'got away with it' and was only handed a hefty 33.5 million dollar fine. Years later he was arrested for robbery and sent to prison for 33 years in 2008.

    Earvin Johnson was born in Lansing, Michigan on the 14th of August 1959, he is a former NBA player and considered to be (once again) one of the greats. "Magic' was notorious for his passing ability and teamwork. He won 5 NBA championships and 3 M.V.P awards. Johnson is not just known for his on-court talent but also his off-court H.I.V battle.

From as young as the age of 2, Wayne was playing hockey and played throughout Canada before entering the NHL in 1979, he is considered to be the greatest offensive hockey player of all time holding almost every scoring record in the NHL, he is a 9 time league MVP, has won 4 Stanley Cups (League Championships) and has competed in several Olympic Games representing Canada. He is a true legend of hockey.

She is a former olympic track and field competitor, she is considered to be one of the top 3 greatest female olympic athletes of all time. She's won 3 gold medals as well 1 silver and 2 bronze. She also did this while overcoming severe asthma.

    Michael Jordan was born on the 17th of Febuary 1963 in Brooklyn, New York. From there he moved to his childhood town Wilmington, North Carolina, throughout his younger years he played the game of Baseball, but after several defeats in the game of basketball to his older brother Larry, he found a love for it and switched to a basketball player. From there he played basketball at his local high school and eventually went to the University of North Carolina, where he became a star at that level.

He became a dominant force ith most of his opponents barely surviving one round with him. He became the youngest World Heavyweight Champion and dominated before losing to James 'Buster' Douglas and falling into obscurity due to legal issues.
