    I know that Peeta is trying to help Katniss, because he decided to help her even though she had never helped him. It also helped her in the games, because in some way she knew she could trust him. That is how I think that moment helped Katniss.

    The baker/Peeta's father helped Katniss when he gave her the bread as something to tell her that she can trust Peeta. It also gave her hope and confidence going into the games. That is how I think that moment helped Katniss.

  • Katniss recives the Mockingjay pin

    The Mockingjay pin is a huge part of the book, it was Katniss's token from District 12 but it also plays a huge part in the two following books. The pin gave her strenth and confidence to not give up and keep trying no matter what. That is how I think that moment helped Katniss.

  • Haymich decides to help them by staying sober

    If Haymich had not been sober Katniss would have had a much harder time in the arena. That is how that moment helped Katniss.

  • Cinna helps her gain atention by turning her into the girl on fire

    Cinna helped Katniss in many way during the Hunger Games. In many ways, Cinna whelped her gain her lots of sponsers.

  • Peeta declares his love to gain sponsers and help Katniss

    When Peeta declared his love for Katniss. During the interviews he gained tons and tons of attencion and the favor of the crowd. He also helped Katniss by showing her that she can trust him to keep her safe. That is how I think that moment helped Katniss.

  • Haymich sends medicine after Katniss is burned badly

    Haymitch was a vital part of Katniss's survival and without him she would have had a much harder time in the Hunger Games. Haymitch and Katniss had a sort of code that they used to communicate during the games that helped her immensly throughout. He also sent things that kept her alive several times.

  • Rue warnes Katniss about the trackerjackers and helps katniss stay alive

    Rue saves Katniss ' life and helps her get away from the career tributes. Rue gave Katniss hope and courage to defy the Capitol. That is how that moment helped Katniss.

  • Peeta does everything he can to protect Katniss during the game.s

    Peeta riskes his life to keep Katniss alive through the whole book from risking teaming up with the careers to get them off her trail, to getting her lots of sponsers. Peeta does everything in his power to keep her alive and without him she would be lost.

  • Districit 11 sends bread to thank Katniss for helping Rue

    District 11 sent the bread, to thank Katniss for helping Rue and putting the flowers on her. after she died. It gave her hope and courage to keep fighting in the arena to stay alive.

  • Haymich helps Katniss understand that they are in danger after the games are over.

    After Katniss and Peeta win the games, they were still in danger because they defied the capitol. The capitol was still trying to punish them even after they left the arena. Haymitch helped Katniss understand what the situation was and how to avoid punishment.
