    Peeta was trying to help Katniss because he saw that she was starving so he purposely burned the loaves of bread so he could give them to Katniss. He also loved her before the Games even happened.

  • Cinna made Katniss the fire dress

    Cinna helped Katniss by making her the fire dress for the opening ceremony. He made the dress for her because he is her stylist and her friend.

  • Peeta admitted to the Capitol that he loved Katniss

    Peeta helped Katniss by confessing to the Capitol that he loved Katniss during the interview. He confessed that he loved her because he really loved her. However, by doing so, he made her desirable to the sponsors and the viewers.

  • Katniss's sponsors sent her the medicine for her burns

    Katniss's sponsors helped her by sending her the medicine after she was badly burned. They sent her the medicine because they want her to win

  • Peeta saves Katniss's life

    Peeta helped Katniss by telling her to run away after she let loose the tracker jackers on the Careers, thus, getting slashed by Cato. Peeta saved her life because he loved her.

  • Rue showed Katniss the tracker jacker nest

    Rue helped Katniss by showing her the tracker jacker nest so she could use it as a weapon against the Careers while she was stuck up in the tree. Rue wanted the Careers out of the way as much as Katniss did.

  • Rue heals Katniss' tracker jacker stings

    Rue helped Katniss by healing the tracker jacker stings she got while she was getting rid of the Careers. Rue healed them because they were friends and they had an alliance.

  • Thresh kills Clove instead of Katniss

    Thresh helped Katniss by not killing her when he had her pinned down. Thresh killed Clove instead of Katniss because he felt he owed Katniss for honoring Rue when she died.

  • The Gamemakers sent the items of need to the Cornucopia

    The Gamemakers helped her by sending her and the other tributes the feast which included the medicine for Peeta's leg. They wanted her to have the medicine so she could save Peeta. However, the Gamemakers also wanted to bring all of the tributes together in the hopes of a battle, which would please the crowd.

  • Katniss's sponsors sent her the feast

    Katniss's sponsors helped her by giving her the feast while she was stuck inside the cave with Peeta. They gave her the feast because they wanted her to win.
