    This is where Katniss volunteers to be tribute after Prim was selected.

  • Katniss says goodbye

    Katniss says goodbye to her family and Gale. This is a key part in the book because prim gets a mocking Jay pin. This pin will symbolize greater things in the future.

  • Haymitch and Effie

    Katniss and Peeta finally meet Haymitch and Effie. These two characters will guide Peeta and Katniss in the Hunger games.This is a rough begning for all of them.

  • Arriving at the Capitol

    The crew finally arrives at the capitol where the are swarmed by people trying to take pictures of them. Katniss and Peeta are seperated and taken to a place where they will clean up and get ready for the cermony

  • Ceremony

    Katniss and Peeta ride a chariot and burst onto fire holding hands. This starts the phrase "Katniss Everdeen the girl on fire." This is where President Snow makes eye contact with Katniss, giving her a glare blank look.

  • Training

    Katniss and Peeta learn the basics of survivaling in the arena. They are told not to show off their skills until their private showcase.

  • Interviews

    Each tribute gets an interview to show off to the crowd and make the people in the capitol like them so they can get sponsered. Katniss blows the show away with her dress being on fire. She also admitts that her and Peeta like each other.

  • Katniss and Peeta

    Katniss and Peeta get up in the middle of the night and both happen to go to a ledge in their suit. This moment shows how they really feel about each other.

  • Katniss rocks gamemakers

    In Katniss's private showcase, the gamemakers paid no attention to Katniss while she was showing off her skill. She then decided to impale an apple in a pigs mouth to show her anger towards the gamemakers.

  • The games begin

    The games officially begin with the deaths of many tributes and Katniss running away from all of them.

  • Katniss gets found

    Katniss is found by a group of people hunting her, lead by Peeta. They decide to wait for Katniss to climb down the tree and kill her.

  • One dies one out

    Katniss sees a a trackers bee nestt above her. She decides to cut it down and when she does. Everyone below her gets stung and the one girl dies from it. Katniss is stung once and passess out.

  • Rue

    When Katniss wakes up she sees a stranger Rue in front of her. They decide to team up and try to survive together. They also decide to blow up some supplies of the people who control it.

  • Rue dies

    Rue dies by getting speared in the stomach. Katniss was there when she saw rue get impaled. Katniss sings to Rue before she dies and puts a bunch of flowers for her around her body.

  • KaBOOM

    Katniss blows up the supplies while Rue distracts the people away from the supplies. A couple of people die in this explosion.

  • The Games have changed

    The Head gamemaker decides that there can be two winners not one. Katniss thinks of Peeta right when she hears this, so she goes searching for him. He also announces that everyone needs something so those supplies will be in the center of the arena

  • Peeta

    Peeta gets found camoflauged with the rocks. He is bleeding from his leg and can barely walk. Katniss takes him back to the cage.

  • Kartniss and Peeta

    That night peeta and Katniss start to kiss and the capitol loves it. Gale is jelous and disgusted.

  • Katniss goes to the center

    Katniss has to get medecine for peeta so he can survive. When she does she almost dies from a girl named fox face. She gets ripped off and her neck is snapped. Thresh saves Katniss because Rue was from the same district as Thresh. Katniss gets the medecine

  • Dogs

    The Head Gamemaker sends out the dogs so that he could finish the games up. Thresh gets eaten by the dogs and Peeta, Katniss, and Cato stand on top of a structure.

  • Final showdown

    Cato tries to kill Peeta but Katniss sends a arrow through Catos arm. Peeta then throws Cato into the dogs. The dogs then go away.

  • Change of plans

    The Head gamemaker decides to change the rules back to one person can live. Katniss and Peeta both decide to eat posion berries so they can die together. the Head Gamemaker decides there can be two winners and Katniss and Peeta win the games.

  • Final Interview

    Peeta and Katniss show their love for each other to the capitol. They love it and they say goodbye.

  • Train

    Katniss tells Peeta she really doesn't like him and he should stop trying.

  • Home

    Katniss and Peeta finally get home and they continue to please the crowd with the new couples hand holding. Both of them know that one is acting and the other one is not.
