Prim is chosen for the games but then here older sister Katniss volunteers.

Peeta is announced as the boy who will be representing district 12 in the games.

Katniss and Peeta take the train to the capital. On the train they meet Haymitch, a previous winner for district 12.

Katniss and Peeta arrive at the capital. They are treated to more foods then they can imagine.

As Peeta and Katniss wake up they are told about one of the most important part of the games. The chariot rides through the downtown of the city. This is very important to get sponsors.

Today Katniss and Peeta will begin training. When they are done they will be sent to a room all by them self to show the game owners how good they are. They will each get a number (12 being the max) on their skills.

Its the night before the games and the last time they may every see Haymitch again.

Today is the first day Katniss is told not to go to the cornucopia (the place that holds food and weapons) because there will be a big fight.

Katniss must spend the first day alone. She grabbed a little bag at the beginning of the games but does not know where Peeta is.

While Katniss is away in a tree down below a girl starts a fire that attracts some tributes who teamed up. They kill her and see Katniss they try to get her but cant climb the tree. A boy in the back says that they should wait her out. That boy is Peeta.

Katniss cuts down a hornets nest from a tree it lands on the people below and they die

Katniss teams up with Rue. They begin a plan to kill the rest of the group.

Katniss and Rue's plan goes south, and Rue dies from another tribute

Katniss teams up together with Peeta, they spend the night in a cave while Peeta is injured

Katniss and Peeta are chased by dogs. They go to the top of the cornucopia there they are meet face to face with the last tribute Kato.

Kato grabs Peeta as Katniss aims the bow right at Kato. Katniss shoots Kato and he falls of the side of the cornucopia and dies.

The gamemakers announce that there can now only be one victor. Katniss and Peeta decide they will both eat poison berries. Just as they are about to eat the gamemakers announce that now both of them can win.

Katniss and Peeta go back to the capital. They do interviews and much more.

Katniss and Peeta get to go home now with more money they can imagine.
