  • Universal Declaration of Human Rights

    On the 10th December 1948, the United Nations (UN) came together and proclaimed the Universal Declarations of Human Rights. The UDHR stated that every single human has human rights. Some of the rights stated were ones such as "Everyone has the right to have education" and "the right to democracy". However these "rights" we're not enforced as laws so many people still don't have some of these rights.

    On 28th August 1963, Martin Luther King Jr. delivered the "I have a dream" speech. Over 250,000 people attended this civil rights speech at the Lincoln Memorial. Now, over 50 years later, people still remember the phrase - "I have a dream"
