The next day David tells Sophie about the visit, and Sophie gets excited, that she gives him her phone number. When Dave got home, he was thinking about calling her, but decided to ask Hammy. Hammy however, was laying motionless on the wood shavings.

On Monday, the newspapers call David and Hammy a Internet phenomenon and soon everyone is giving him phone calls. Even some kids and teachers at Harman congratulate him.

During lunch, some groups acknowledge David, though Tommy still calls him Lameberg. When he goes to his seat, however, someone calls to him. When he turns around, he sees Elliot. He lets Elliot sit next to him, and everything is back to normal.
