I believe John D. RockFeller and Andrew Carnegie gave away much of their fortunes later in their life out their understanding of how it felt to have nothing , RockFeller and Carnegie were two industrialist who came from rags to riches and were humbled by it. -
How some industrialist Were viewed by the public, and which term would you use to describe them.
Industrialist were either viewed by the public as Captains of industry and some were called robber barons. John D. RockFeller was one of the industrialist who was called a Captain of industry because of his humble upbringings. One industrialist who was called a robber baron was J. Pierpont Morgan an industrialist who was already born into wealth. I believe they should all be called industrialist regardless if they were born into wealth or not.
