Birth and Youth
He was born in Norfolk, England and he was the son of Edmund Nelson, a reverend and Catherine Suckling Nelson. He lost his mother soon with 9 years old. He had never interested for the school. He joined in the Royal Navy without merits because his uncle was a member of it. Nelson suffered depression all his life. -

Horatio Nelson began his life as navigator. He fought in the Caribbean Sea and he fought in the American Independence war too. He had two promotions. The last of them got it to him in the most younger captain of the Royal Navy. He was rejected by a reverend daughter. -

War with Spain and France
Nelson married in 1787 and had to go to the war with France in 1792. In this context, Spain and France were allied. Nelson got to be vice admiral due to spanish mistakes in the Cabo de San Vicente battle, in 1797 but Nelson was defeated too. He tried to attack Cadiz and Santa Cruz de Tenerife. In 25th of July, People of Santa Cruz defeated to the Nelson´s Navy.Nelson lost a arm in this battle -

Napoleonics wars and the battle of Trafalgar
Nelson participed in the Napoleonics Wars, fighting in Egypt. His victory prevented to the France army to invade India. He fought in Italy too and he had to rescue to the Napolitanian Royal Family. He had an affair with the princces of Napoli. He was designated as a comander but he began with healthy problems. At the finish, he fought in his last battle, the battle of Trafalgar against France and Spain. He died in this battle.
