Ho Chi Minh, born as Nguyen Sinh Cung, was born in Nghe An Province on 19 May 1890.

Ho was hired on a French ship as a kitchen helper. As he travelled, he became interested in the US political rights (US declaration of independence)

sailed to London and worked as a dishwasher and pastry chef.

After WWI, he ventrured to Paris to join the French Socialist Party and had a Paris Peace petition that failed soon after.

He broke off from the French Socialist party and found the French Communist party which had a quest to eliminate French colonicalism.

He ventured to Moscow and trained as a Comintern agent

He dispatched to China to organize the Vietnamese dssidents to communist revolutionaries.

During WWII, Ho went back to Moscow and later returned to South China.

The Kuomintang arrested him and was released in 1942. He went back to Vietnam after his release and changed his name to Ho Chi Minh.

Ho created the Democratic Republic of Vietnam and made made himself president.

After negotiations in Geneva, Switzerland, Ho was given the control of the Northern hald of Vietnam.

Ho continued his power in the north until 1960 and initiated a concerted guerilla fovernment that supported the South communism.

Ho died of a heart ailment and did not manage to see the outcome of his hardwork and efforts.

US admitted that they could not win the war due to Ho's dertermination and resilience and soon withdrew.

Saigon (Southern Capital) was the final communist onslaught and was named after Ho Chi Minh in his honour.
