Pearl Harbor
Pearl Harbor was attacked by Japan in Hawaii near Honolulu on a Sunday morning. About hundreds of Japanese planes arrived on the base and destroy or damage nearly 20 American naval vessels, eight battleships, and over 300 airplanes. 2,400 Americans died in the attack also civilians, and another 1,000 people were wounded.This is significant because the United States joined world war 2 after japan bombed Pearl Harbor. -
