The Space Shuttle Columbia was entering Earth's atmosphere when it disintergrated and killed the seven astronauts onboard. I chose this event because I felt sorry for the astronauts and their close relatives. -

There was a massive earthquake, followed by a tsunami which hit the coast of Sumatra, Indoneisia, which killed at least 200,00 people. I chose this event because it was considered one of the deadliest natural disasters in recorded history. -

A huge hurricane, known as Hurricane Katrina, hit New orleans, which resulted in the lost of hundreds of lives. I chose this event because it was one of the most deadliest hurricanes ever in recorded history. -

There was a massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. I chose this event because I found this event very major since this oil spill was the largest oil spill in history. -
Death of Osama bin Laden
Osama bin Laden , the leader of Al-Qaeda, was killed by US Navy Seals. I chose this event because justice has been done when Osama bin Laden finally got killed after orchestrating the 9 11 terrorist attacks. -
