    Carlton Fisk hit a ball that was surly gone, but tailing foul. He then danced down the baseline, waving the ball fair. Now it is widely known and used in commercials.

    Reggie Jackson hit 3 homeruns in a world series game, and was awarded the nickname "Mr. October"
  • Bill Buckner blows game

    Bill Buckner made an error with bases loaded and 2 outs in the 9th inning and the yankees were winning. The ball went through his legs as the winning runs scored.
  • Kirk Gibson hits homerun

    Kirk Gibson had to sit out game 1 of the 1988 World Series because of an injury, until the bottom of the 9th inning. The dodgers pinch hit him, even though he could not walk. He fouled off 15 pitches, and finally hit a walk off homerun.
