    The name of the toy I researched was the Teddy Bear. The teddy bear is a soft toy in the form of of a bear. The man who invented it was Richard Sheriff. The teddy bear was named after the beloved president Theodore “Teddy” Roosevelt. Teddy bears are among the most popular gifts for children and are often given to adults to signify love, congratulations, or sympathy. The Teddy Bear first model was made in Germany.

    Lincoln Logs-Steven Taylor
    I researched Lincoln logs- U.S. children’s toy consisting of notched miniature logs, used to build small forts and buildings. It was invented by John Lloyd Wright. The mold for the toys was based on the architecture of the Imperial hotel in Tokyo. Lincoln logs were introduced into the U.S. National Toy Hall of Fame in 1999. They tried to build Lincoln logs with plastic, but it failed, and they went back to redwood.

    Silly putty was my toy, it is rubber that has been colored and had chemicals added. It was invented in 1943 by James Wright. It was originally used for Halloween costumes. Kids would shape and form the putty to make classic shapes like webs and ghosts and put the silly putty on their costumes. It was also used for the repair of jeep tires during ww2.

In the beginning he made 400 and they went in 90 min. The invention of the slinky was an accident. His wife, Mrs.James, was the one who named the toy.

Mr. Potato Head was originally called “Funny Face Man.” It started being manufactured as a toy in the bottom of cereal boxes. Also, in the year 2000, Mr. Potato Head was introduced into the National Toy Hall of Fame.

Lil Romeo has a song called “Bobblehead” that was an attempt to make fun of people whose dancing style reminded him of the nodding dolls.

    Wiffleball is a variation of baseball designed for play in confined areas. The game is played using a perforated, light-weight, plastic ball and a long yellow bat. David Mullany created wiffleball in 1953 in Fairfield, Connecticut. This game was created because Mullany feared about what would happen to his son’s arm if he threw a baseball too much, so he created a lighter ball to throw. Strikes in early wiffleball were known as whiffs.

Play-Doh was available only in one color , and size of an off-white half pound can. It was test marketed one year earlier at schools, kindergartens, and nursery schools.

    The name of my toy is G.I. JOE it was invented in 1964 and made by the Hasbros. The definition of my toy is: A macho war hero that had war music when you pressed a button on his back. The G.I. JOE was meant for a toy mostly for boys. Along with the toy Hasbros made a series of comics,television,video games, and a full length film. G.I. JOE led to the name “action figure”. Most boys wouldn’t play with any toy that said doll so Hasbro made a special name action figure just for the boys.

    Erno Rubik created the first rubiks cube. The rubiks cube is a 3D box with 26 colors also called faces. The goal is to try to match all the same color face to match. to get them to match you have to turn them clockwise and counter clockwise. the rubiks cube was popular in the U.S. in the 1980s even though it was made in the mid 1970s. people of all ages were obsessed with it because it was hard and because of the rotating axes and colors. there was a lot of competitions be held for bragging.

They live over the hills and far away in a place, a very magical land which is a part modern technological land where magical things can happen. They have tons of friends in Teletubbyland. Their best friend is Noo Noo he’s their vacuum cleaner who cleans up after them and sorts out the Tubbytronic Superdome where they live. They run about, they play, they dance, they eat and drink tubby custard and toast.They live an idillic life to kids.
