Things fell apart as the Giants had a 2-10 season. Thus, the Wilderness Years began, having 18 straight non playoff seasons. Meanwhile, their division leader, the Dallas Cowboys, began to make a name for themselves, having two winning seansons in 3 years. -
Departing from New York
The Giants signed a deal with the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority to move their team from New York City to New Jersey. However until the stadium could be made, the giants played their home games at the Yale Bowl. -

The Giants won their first Super Bowl in decades. Led by multiple hall of famers: Phil Simms, Ronnie Lott, Mark Bavaro, and one of the most dominant sack artists of all time, Lawrence Taylor, the Giants dominated the entire '85 season, finishing 14-2. Simms won the mvp trophy in super bowl XXl -
Champions Again
The Giants have another successful season, beatintg the Buffalo Bills in Super Bowl XXV. They finished the season 13-3. Running back Otis Anderson won the MVP, rushing for 102 yards in the 20-19 win over the Bills. -

Two time super bowl winning quarterback, Eli Manning, was drafted by the Giants. Meanwhile, the franchise has hired Tom Coughlin as head coach of the team. -
Greatest win of all time
The Giants have pulled the biggest upset in history when they've beaten the Patriots 17-14 in super bowl XLll. David Tyree saved the day as they made the head catch on the 30 yard line. -
Comeback Season
The Giants won their fourth Super Bowl in team history, beating the Patriots again 21-17. Eli Manning was awarded the Pete Rozelle MVP trophy. What makes the season so significant was that the Giants were never supposed to be in the playoffs, at one point being 7-7 in the season. They began a six game winning streak, beating also the 14-2 Falcons and the 15-1 Packers by double digits.
