  • Z1 Computer

    The Z1 computer was the first computer ever. It was made by Konrad Zuse sometime in 1936.

  • Harvard Mark-1

    Harvard proffesor Howard Aiken and IBM were the creators of the Harvard Mark-1. It was a relay based calculator and it was as big as a room.
  • ENIAC

    The ENIAC was built by John Mauchly and J. Presper Eckert and took up 1,000 square feet. It took three years to build, but the speed was greatly improved compared to other computers.
  • EDSAC

    Maurice Wilkes built the EDSAC, the first practical stored-program computer in 1949. He got his idea for it out of lectures he had gotten at school.
  • ERA 1101

    The ERA 1101 was the first commercially produced computer. It was built by the Engineering Reasearch Associates of Minneapolis.
  • SEAC

    SEAC
    The SEAC, or Standards Eastern Automatic Computer, was built in Washington in 1950. The SEAC has technology more reliable than vacuum tubes: all-diode logic. It was the first computer to have this logic.

    Whirlwind made its appearance on the TV show, "See it Now" in 1951. Jay Forrester and Robert Everett worked on the computer for six years before finishing it.

    Expected to come out in 2035, the telebeamer will cast a 3D image of you any place in the world. They will cost upwards of 12,000 dollars and will be mainly used for business.
