    This act provided scholarships and student loans through increased federal aid. It impacted multicultural education by allowing the low income to receive higher education. This in turn further diversified the higher educational system.

    This act granted accommodation rights to those suffering from disabilities. It impacted multicultural education by accommodating those with disabilities. Disabled people were previously excluded in government funded schools.
