  • DynaTAC 8000x

    Doctor Martin Cooper invented the first the first hand held mobile phone. This is a 1 generation telephone, it is the most basic type of wireless telephone technology. Back then there were no sim cards. It was made for people making calls to each other.

  • DynaTAC 8000s

    It was made for people making calls to each other. It was as big as a house brick. All the DynaTac series looked almost identical.

  • Storno 220 Motorola 8500x

    This phone still looks like a brick, but it was not as heavy as the first mobile phone. It was made for people making calls to one another.

  • Nokia 2110

    This is a 2 generation wireless telephone. The first phones to use sim cards were the 2G’s. It was made for people making calls to one another.

  • Nokia 5120

    This phone was made for people making calls to one another. The Nokia 5120 is similar to what we call home phones.

    This is the first 3 generation phone Nokia released. The 3G is much faster than the 2G.
