Because womens rights were still being developed, women were not allowed to be revealed in public, therefore the large full bodied dresses were very popular as really they were all they could wear

    During WW2, the non war related men were subjected to a fair fashion change. For men there were 2 major styles. Single color, single buttons suits with ties and short brim hats. And also High waist pants with suspenders and short open jackets

The hourglass figure was become greatly popularized, corsets helped women achieve this shape, high heels were introduced to improve the protrusion of a womans buttocks. Bright dresses with large openings were popularized, especially when is collaboration with new parasols.
