Tuskeegee Syphillis Study

This study was specifically to observe the diseases in blacks and different races such as "Syphillis" in the deep south of Alabama. They did not treat these men or allow them to receive medications, education was not provided nor did they tell them they had syphillis. Lawn Humphrey pretended to be gay to fit in with the homphobe crowd to observe this behavior in the public such as Tea rooms or bathrooms. Humphrey reported these people lived normal lives after experiencing time with they gays as he wrote in his book "Tea Room Trade impersonal sex in public places" which raised criticism for pretending to be some one he was not and not asking for permission to study these people.
