This movement included the Law of Effect by Edward Thorndike, IQ developed by Alfred Binet. Brown vs. Board of Education
I believe this to be one of the most important times in the history of education. This court case ended segregation of whites and African Americans in public schools. Sputnik and NDEA

Elementary and Secondary Education Act
This act allows stuents from low income households to get the same tyep of education and funding opportunities as those in the middle or upper class. These low income schools are called Title I schools and they receive funding so that "no child is left behind," which is was President W.
