Antonie was one of the greatest biologist in all of history. He was born on the year 1632 but they don't know what day he was born.As I said before he was the one of the greatest biologists and one of the reasons was because Leeuwenhoek made more than 500 optical lenses and 25 different microscopes, of differing types but only nine survived to be used to this day.
  • Robert Hooke

    Robert Hooke
Robert was a very wealthy man but he deserved it because of his specialties in physics and chemistry. He studied in Oxford university. After so many years studding it paid off by him discovering the law of elasticity. Also another thing he did was coin the term cell for describing organisms.
  • Carl Linnaeus

    Carl Linnaeus
Carl made also very many contributions to many subjects such as Botany,Biology and Zoology. He helped future research of man by describing humans just as he described any other plant or animal. One of the reasons Carl made so many contributions was cause he made many expeditions and learnt different things from different people that were very far away.
  • Matthias Jakob Schleiden

    Matthias Jakob Schleiden
Matthias was a German botanist well known for the importance of the cell nucleus. He became professor of botany at the University of Dorpat in 1863. Later he concluded that all plant parts are made of cells.
  • Theodor shwann

    Theodor shwann
Theodor's was born on of the biggest city's in its districts called Neuss. Theodor was a an amazing physiolgogist. He was a German physiologist. His many contributions to biology include the development of cell theory, the discovery of Schwann cells. He was so amazing that there is such thing as a cell named after him called Schwann..
  • Rudolf Virchow

    Rudolf Virchow
Rudolf's work was mostly known for his scientific contribution is his cell theory, which built off of the work of Theodor Schwann. There is so much to say about Rudolf he made contributions to many things, more than most people ever will. He was a spectacular Pathologist. He compared common diseases between humans and animals. One of Virchow's major contributions to German doctors was to teach them he would tell many students to think microscopically.
