The Declaration of Independence is when America signed off from king George. This is when they declared independence from Great Britain. The purpose of the letter was to win foreign allies, rally troops, and pronounce the creation of a new creation. -

Louisiana Purchase is when Thomas Jefferson bought more land from the west. When he bought the land it doubled the nation. Louisiana Purchase is important because when Thomas Jefferson bought the nation they got control of the mississippi river. -
Lewis and Clark Journey
The Lewis and Clark Journey was after the Louisiana purchase, they were suppose to create accurate maps, and explore the land and see new things. They are important because Lewis and Clark were sent by Thomas Jefferson to explore the land he had just bought that had doubled the nation. -
Texas Revolution
The Texas Revolution is when Texas and México fought. The fight was about Texas be with the United States. México didn't like the fact of Texas's Independence with the United States, so they fought. Texas then won so they had their full independence with the United States -
Donner's Party
In the Donners party they were traveling west and decided it will be better to go off course from the others. Then there wagon broke and had to try and fix it. Though they couldn't they then were starving, it started to snow. So they thought why not eat each other. The importance of the Donner party is it shows back then most people die of starvation and they were so hungry they ate their child. -
California Gold Rush
California Gold Rush is when people all over the world came to get gold. It was important because so many people came like people from India, China, and México all over. They all wanted the gold to buy resources, land, and more. -
World War ll
This event was about the attack of people killing Jewish even kids. This event is important because around 50,000,000 people died. They had concentration camps that toured people. -
9/11
9/11 attack was when the Taliban crashed a plane they hijacked into the twin towers. Crashed a plane into the fields then into the pentagon. This event is important because many people died from the attack some survived but a lot did not make it. -
