    The Declaration of Independence.
    This event was the event where the colonists stood up for their rights and separated from the British. This event took place in sumer of 1776, where the colonists wrote to the British Colonies explaining his independence and rights. This event is important because it symbolizes why the people of America have freedom still to this day.
  • The Louisiana Purchase

    The Louisiana Purchase was a special event, in which took place in 1803, was a deal made by Thomas Jefferson, where he bought the Mid-Western part of which is now the United States of America, from France. This is an important event because it sows the history of how the United States became of what it is today.
  • The lewis and clark journey

    The Lewis and Clark journey was an event that took place in 1803, when the Louisiana Territory was purchased. Lewis and Clark explored all over the Louisiana Territory to record new plants and animals and create a map of the large territory.
  • The Donner Party

    The Donner Party was a group of people who tried to travel to california. They became stranded somewhere for over 5 months with food only to last 3 weeks. The Donner Party turned to cannibalism to survive in 1847.
  • The California gold rush

    The California gold rush was an event that took place in 1848, when thousands of men, women, and children traveled west for the uncountable amount of gold. This event is important because it helped shape our economy into what it is today.
  • 9/11

    9/11 was a very tragic event. This event took place in New York City at the twin towers. Terrorists had flown two planes into the towers, causing damage to many other buildings, family members, and mentality. The terrorists were also heading for the Pentagon. This event is very important because it shows remembrance and respect to those who were lost on this event.
  • My birthday.

    The very first time this event happened was when I was born. All of the other 12 events that happened after the first event, on the same exact day, are to celebrate when I was born. This event is important because it keeps track of my age and part of my personality and profile.
