    Wall Street Bombing

    The Wall street bombing was political because many people believed that it was anarchists and communists behind the bombing. In the initial explosion 30 were killed and 300 more were injured. The explosion was created by 100 pounds of dynamite brought by a wagon. It is believed that the driver of the wagon left before it went off and it is also believed that the perpetrators were two Italian anarchists although that was never confirmed, and the case was never solved.
  • Tulsa Race Riots

    Tulsa Race Riots

    This race riot was the worst in U.S history. It destroyed the wealthiest African American community in America called Greenwood. It left 10,000 African Americans homeless and about 100-300 were killed. It was a social event that started over a little boy. The little boy was African American and when people found out his arrest many white Americans demanded he be lynched. Many defended him and it led to a fire fight which led to many deaths.

    Black Tuesday was the day of the Wall Street stock market crash. The stock market crash wiped out thousands of investors and billions of dollars were lost. It was caused by the decrease in production and the increase of unemployment which led to the crash.

    The Dust Bowl was a period of severe dust storms that destroyed any chances of agriculture and ecology in the prairies in both the U.S and Canada. It was caused by a drought and the failure of aeolian processes or dryland farming. Those led to the dust storms that destroyed all homes and farms on the prairie
  • The Hindenburg Disaster

    The Hindenburg Disaster

    The Hindenburg was a German passenger airship or blimp that caught fire while trying to dock at the Naval Air Station Lakehurst. It is believed that the airship caught fire due to an electric spark. The spark jumped to the metal frame and ignited the hydrogen gas that was leaking which made the airship catch fire and crash killing 35 people. The Hindenburg was the end of the airship era.

    Pearl Harbor was the day Japan attacked a U.S naval base. Pearl harbor made the U.S join WW2 after finding out their naval base Pearl Harbor was attacked. President FDR declared war. This event was both political and social as it made America join the war and cost the lives of American troops and citizens

    The Korean War was a war between North and South Korea it started Jun. 25, 1950 and ended July 27, 1953. Even though it technically didn't end because neither side signed a peace treaty. Both America and Russia were somewhat involved Russia helped the North and America helped the South.
