    Honig v. Doe
    This case is about a handicapped boy, who was suspended for violent and disruptive behavior that was related to his disability. The court ruled that disable kids with violent behavior when suspended they called that a "cooling down" period a student can not be suspended no more than ten days if they pose an immediate threat to others. The court also ruled that students with disabilities cannot be expelled for behavior related to their disabilities.

    Timothy W. v. Rochester, New Hampshire, School District
    In this case the court ruled that under the Education for All Handicapped Children Act, school boards were required to provide special- education services to any disabled student regardless of the severity of his or her disabilities. Timothy had multiple handicapped, but was very intellectual. The school wanted him to be in regular classroom setting and was not looking at the severity of his handicap. This case help those with severe handicap to be able to be put in special education.
