    In the University of Alabama where Forrest Gump had attended college, a federal district court ordered the state of Alabama to admit African Americans Vivien Malone and James Hood into the University.

    On November 22nd 1963, President Kennedy was assassinated by who we assume to be Lee Harvey Oswald while Kennedy was parading in Dallas, Texas with his wife Jacqueline

    On June 6th 1968, Robert Kennedy (John F. Kennedys brother) shot three times by a Palestenian immigrant Sirhan Sirhan after giving his speech in Los Angeles, California. Robert Kennedy later died of his wounds 26 hours later.
