    The KKK was founded by Nathan Beddford Forrest on December 24, 1866 as a radical white supremacy group that would terrorize newly freed blacks. The KKK would also terrorize whites who were involved with blacks. During the 60's, the KKK urged from the shadows by bombing black schools and churchs and lynching of innocent men, women and children. Whites that were involved with blacks were targeted as well. Unfortunately, the Ku klux klan is still around today...

    Elvis comes on TV for the First time
    Elvis Presley arrives on the set of the Dorsey Brothers Show on January 28, 1956. Elvis sang "Shake Rattle & Roll", "Flip/Fly & Fly", and "I Got a Woman". The crowed loved it and became wildly interested. After his first TV appearance, Elvis became very popular.

    In the 60's, Charles Manson created a Quasi-commune in the California Desert. Manson did not commit the murders himself, but the Manson Family (referring to the Quasi-commune) commited nine murders. Manson was found guilty in conspiracy to commit seven murders and is still in jail today.

    The governer of Alabama, George Wallis was pro-segregation so on June 10, 1963 when black students tried to enroll for the University of Alabama, Wallis and the state troopers blocked the door so the black students could not enroll. Later that day, JFK sent in the National Guard and forced Wallis and his troopers to move allowing the black students to enroll.

    JFK was riding in a motorcade in Dallas, Texas with his wife, the driver, and Governor John Connally when Lee Harvey Oswald shot three rounds into JFK. Oswald was shot later coming out of the court house by Jack Ruby.

  • Bobby Kennedy assassination

    Bobby Kennedy assassination
    Bobby Kennedy was assassinated by Sirhan Sirhan on June 6, 1968 in Los Angeles, CA. Bobby was walking through the kitchen of the Ambassador Hotel and Sirhan Sirhan fired a .22 revolver at Bobby and killed him. Bobby lived for a few hours after the shooting until he passed.
