    Boston Tea Party
    Three ships came from the British East Indian Company. In 1773 the ships arrived in the Boston Harbor. Sons of Liberty demanded they leave. on December 16 1773 colonist disguised as Indians sneck into the three ships. The colonist dumped over 340 tea chest into the Boston Harbor.

    When British prime minister heard about the boston tea party he was furious. Parlament decited to punish boston. It was really called the coerive acts but the colonist called it the intolerable acts. One of the punishments was boston harbor was closed till paid for ruined tea.

    The First Continetal Congress met in capenters hall in Philadethia from September 5 to October 26. It was a convention of people from 12 british north American colonises early in the revolution. Metting was called in responce to passage of the Coercive Acts.

    On April 18 1775 the 700 british soliders headed to Concord. British general Thomas Gage heard that the colonial militia had a major weapons Storehoused there. He sent the british to destoy it. 70 armed minutemen came to lexington ready to fight. That day 8 minutemen layed dead.

    It was written by Thomas Jefferson. He wrote the raft draft in June of 1776. Comitee members changed wording and added aditional charges aginst king George the 3 of England.

When moring came the men were short of supplies they marched through the snow to reach the enemy camp. The enemy was fast asleep when the patriots came and took more than 900 prisoners. This was called the battle of trenton.

    Elizabeth freeman was a slave since she was 6 months old. She decited if all men are born equal why shount she. She found an anti-slavery lawyer. His name was Theodore Sedwick. He helped her put an end to slavery in Massachusetts.
