Was a order given by Abraham Lincoln to free slaves and almost immediately 4 million slaves were released. He did this because he was really against slavery. -

It was a war fought between the United States of America and the Confederate States of America and also other southern states that left the union. The southern states didn't want to be part of the United states anymore and wanted to make their own country. But the northern states wanted to stay the same as one country. -
The Great Depression
The Great Depression was an economic crisis that mostly happened in the 1930s. It started in the United States but quickly spread across the world. During this time people were out of work,hungry and homeless. People would line up in huge lines at soup kitchens just to get something to eat. -
World War 2
World War 2 was a global war that lasted from 1939 to 1945. The major countries that were in the war are China,Japan,Britain,France,United states,Germany,Russia and Italy. It started by the prime minister of Britain declaring war on Germany and the second war that came started by Germany in an unprovoked attack on Poland. -
Civil Rights Movement
The Civil Rights Movement was a popular movement to secure the African Americans. It was an ongoing fight for racial equality so the colored could vote and be in the same place as the whites. Martin Luther King Jr.,Rosa parks and other great people helped to protest and change laws in a non-violent way.
