    This event starts in 1944 but the operation started in 1943, it was a military operation including the invasion of Normandy using landing craft, Aircraft, Armored Divisions and Infantry of 24,000 American, British and Canadian Troops. The Germans that were defending the beach had many important Gun Emplacements as well as wood stalks and metal tripods on the beach. Overall the operation failed and there were many casualties and many wounded.
