Watched the Kristi Quillen interview. I can't wait to get started on this project!
-
Promise Me. A story about Nancy Brinker and her sister Susan. Nancy is the woman who started the Susan G. Komen for the cure foundation.
-
This book is fun to read and tells very good stories, but it is a tad girly. I recommend it to women who like to read about a coming of age, and an almost impossible quest to cure brest cancer.
-
I wonder who i could do for my interview. Between my dad, grandparents, great aunt, and so many others.... i just hope no one gets offended.
-
The perfect day to read my biography.
-
My first post. How i chose Nancy Brinker. This post was quick and easy, i hope they are all like this...
-
Time to get even further ahead in my biography! Its a good thing i'm getting all this time because this book is LONG!
-
This post is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much harder than the first one! i have 1 paragraph down, and im using timetoast to procrastinate. I never thought i would do one school project to avoid doing another. weird.
-
Free Sunday to read as much of "Promise Me" as possible. I also have to find a passage for first chapter Monday.
-
My passage is about how Nancy was inspired by President John F. Kennedy. The passage begins with a famous quote of his, "We choose to go to the moon".
-
Just adding some final touches to my timetoast to finish. Hey, the title rhymes. Who said poetry was never uesd in life?
