The Great Race
In the 1901 Henry Ford designed the 26-horsepower Sweepstakes and defeated Alexander Winton's 70-horsepower Bullet in 10 laps around the one-mile oval of the Detroit Driving Club. This is a turning point in his life because it lead to a second short-lived attempt at auto manufacture, the Henry Ford Company. -

In the 1908 Henry Ford made the Model T. The Model T but the world on wheels. The Model T was a simple, affordable car. Ford sold 15 million Model Ts in May 1927. Model T was one of the best selling cars. -
