Seeing Dad
Brian is out for summer break from school and is going to visit his dad in Canada. -
The Secret
Brian is tortured knowing that he saw his mom kissing a unknown man in her car while Brian was with his friend. -
Heart Attack
Brian's pilot that is flying him to Canada to visit his dad had a heart attack, and now Brian is having to drive the plane himself. -
The Crash
The plane engine stopped working, and Brian is trying to land the plane softly without hurting himself. He then finds a near by lake in the forest to land the plane in. -
Berries
Brian is starving, and he looks in a nearby tree and sees some birds eating berries. Brian then spots the berry bush and chomps down on some berries. -
Illness
Brian gets very ill from shoving tons of berries down his throat from being so hungary. -
The Porcupine
Brain got needles stuck in his leg from a porcupine that was in his shelter. Brian felt sick trying to take the needles out of his leg. -
The Fire
Brian has now come up with an idea of how to start a fire by taking his hatchet, hitting it against a rock, and then hitting it on a rock. Then, the sparks will hit the wood and start a fire. -
The Eggs
Brian heard something at night, and then he went to sleep. He woke up the next morning to see what the noise was ,and he then found snapping turtle eggs. -
Fish
Brian made a spear and is trying to catch some fish, but the fish are too fast. Then after fixing the spear with his hatchet, he catches some small fish. -
The Foolbird
Brian has found a very small chicken like bird. He then caught the bird he calls a Foolbird and bakes it. Brian says it taste just like his mother's chicken. -
The First Feast
Brian has killed a foolbird, eggs, and fish. Now Brian can have the feast he has been waiting for. -
The Missed Plane
Brian then heard a plane motor not far from him and when it was coming, Brian thought they were coming from him. Brian tried to get their attention from his camp. Then the plane flew off not seeing or hearing Brian. -
The Cutting
Brian was done to the point where he wanted to die. Brian had last fallen to his side wishing for death. When Brian woke up he saw the cuts on his arms and the dry blood turning black. He hated what he had done to himself. Brian was not the same anymore. -
The Wolf
Brian was standing by the lake, but then heard a noise. It was a wolf. The wolf was huge! Brian had never seen a wolf the size of him. Brian was so afraid. The wolf then walked up the hill and was followed by three other wolves . They were beautiful and grey. He was not the same now as he stood there and whatched them slowly walk away. -
The Bear
Brian saw a mother bear and its two cubs in the forest. Brian stood still and and didn't move. Then the mother bear and her two cupb walked slowly of finto the wilderness. -
The Skunk
Near the fire Brian saw a skunk digging in the hole where he had berried the eggs. He knew it was a skunk because he saw high black and white bushey tail. He also knew it was a skunk because of the smell. Brian tried to do something, but he got sprayed and the eggs were gone. -
The Moose
During Brian's hunt for the bird something struck him. It was a moose with no horns. She took Brian with the left side of her forehead and tossed him into the lake. He had almost no time to breath before the cow struck him again. Mud filled Brian's eyes and ears. She was holding him under water. Tthen, he finally came up for air. Then the cow went on eating lily pads untill Brian moved one move, and she was at him again. Brian was hurt bad in the ribs. -
The Tornado
Brian awoke to a low roaring sound that came from the wind. He felt it in his shelter. He felt the rain and heard the thunder. It was a tornado. It was too late for him to gather any of his tools. It was coming and coming fast. The wind blew the hot coals on Brian, messed up his shelter and his food, and blew all of his supplies away. Brian could hear trees ripping. Everything he had or did was now ruiend. -
Loosing The Hatchet
Brian was cutting through the wings of the plane when all the sudden he dropped his hatchet. Brian had swam deep before at the pool at school, but he didn't know how deep this lake was. Brian then tried to go to the bottom of the lake and find the hatchet. Brian had no luck.. He couldn't see anything and he had no breath left in him. -
Emergency Transmiter
Brian finally found the emergency transmiter. He turned the switch back and foruth a couple of times and nothing happened. It was probably ruend in the crash he thought. -
The Rescue
Brian thought the emergency transmiter didnt work, but when a near by plane was flying it heard the emergency transmiter and came to save Brian. The pilot said that people stopped searching for Brian two months ago and everybody thought he was dead.
