Hillie John Franz was a man who fought in WW!. In WW1 he found a Journal and began writing in it. He started with a description of how he got to where he was and then began to submit actual diary entries. Many years later he went back to edit and later have his journal transcribed, during this time he also wrote an autobiography for the beginning of the journal.
