December 13, 1936, the Green Bay Packers won their first NFL Championship against the Boston Redskins. With their coach as Curly Lambeau, (Lambeau Field is named after him) they won 21-6.

Vince Lombardi announced he would coach the Packers for the upcoming seasons. What was originally a very bad team, sometimes only winning one game a season, Vince Lombardi transformed the team into one of the best in the NFL.
