  • Nick moves to West Egg

    Nick has recently moved to West Egg and he is visiting his cousin Daisy and her husband Tom in East Egg. This was when Nick got to notice the different between how people may act throughout different classes. His cousin and Tom was old money, while he actually had to work for his money. Money was a big factor of you status. They each acted and lived completely different.
  • Myrtle and Tom

    Tom takes Nick with him to meet Myrtle, the women he is cheating with on Daisy. This was a very uncomfortable situation for Nick, but he was to kind to go against Toms wishes. He also traveled with them to their apartment, and Tom tried to hook him up with Myrtles sister. Nick wanted to please every one, he was a very nice person. He was always dragged into other peoples lives and situations,
    This scene shows that Nick really doesnt know how to say no, he gives every body what they want.
  • Gatsbys party

    Nick was invited to Gatsby party, something that never happens. No body is ever invited, they just show up. Nick gets to see how everyone acts, how they are absolutly crazy, and a drunken mess. Gatsby personally introduced himself to Nick. This scene shows that Gatsby took an interest in Nick, and that he most hav\e something to say to him later on.
  • Nick meets Mr, Wolfsheim

    Gatsby takes Nick to meet Mr, Wolfsheim, He leaves them alone at the table and Mr, Wolfsheim begins to talk about how great Mr, Gatsby is, When Mr. Gatsby arrives again, Mr wolfsheim leaves. Gatsby wants Nick to think great things about him, and wants him to have a positive view.
  • Daisy is over for tea

    Nick invites Daisy over for tea, and Mr. Gatsby shows up. They are both very nervous at first, but the mood lightens up and Gastby and Daisy are enjoying eachothers company. They all end up going over to Gatsbys house. Gatsby wants to show Daisy that he has made something out of himself, he wants to capture her attention.
  • James Gatz

    Nick is telling the story of how Gatsby changed his name at 17 years old. He was rised by unsucessful farmers, and he didnt fit in, so he ran away. Dan cody turned Gatsby into a gentleman. This shows that Gatsby was never happy with who he was, he knew he was aspose to be something bigger and better.
  • Myrtle dies

    Daisy was driving Gastby car back home when Myrtle ran into the road towards the car, assuming in was Tom. Daisy freaked out and hit Mytle, but she didnt stop. Gatsby told Nick that he would take the blame. He loves Daisy and would do anything for her. Daisy is careless and will let someone else clean up her own terrible mess, just another trait for people with old money.
  • Gatsby dies

    Wilson tracked down Tom to find out who the yellow car belong to. He assumed that the owner of the car must be the man his wife was having an affair with. Tom automacally threw Gatsby under the bus, without any extra thoughts. Althought, Tom was actually having the affair with Myrtle. Again, this is another setting showing that Old money are careless and will find anyone to clean up their messes.
  • The end

    Nick kept trying to find people to attend Gatsby funeral, but there was nobody, Daisy didnt even send a card or flower, she was busy Tom. Although, Gatsby father did show up. This show that old money are rude, and showed no respect. Gatsby dad was poor, and got disowned by his son, but he still showed up this his funeral. Real love and loyality.
